The Bastion is a Tier-7 ship added on Aug 4, 2017.The Bastion can be upgraded to from the following ships; H-Mercury,Condor, A-Speedster,Rock-Tower,Barracuda and O-Defender.
The Bastion can be viewed as a bullet hose and is most similar to the H-Mercury, yet much more powerful. The Bastion is unique in that it shoots 6 powerful streams of bullets with varying properties. In Team mode, the silhouette of the Bastion looks like a patch of grass.
A skilled player using the Bastion can take on many ships but has to be careful of his shield capacity. due to this the Bastion should first farm then attack with power!
Against the Bastion it is best recommended to use the Aries because it can deliver large knock back and damage it at the same time. The bastion has very bad turning speed, and is fairly light, so if you use a ship with high mass and/or high knockback, and hit the bastion into an asteroid field, it will be fairly easy to destroy. Bastions in asteroid fields are very vulnerable. Another strategy is to just use a ship with really high agility, as to not get hit or get in front of the ship. Never attack a bastion head on, unless you have a group of good Advanced-Fighters behind you. Attacking a bastion from the front, even with a group of ships is very dangerous. The bastion becomes even deadlier when it has full attack pods.
The Bastion has the highest shield regeneration in the game, making it able to easily recover from damage. A bastion can regain it's entire shields from zero to four hundred in just 20 seconds. It also has the highest energy regeneration in the game. It has the worst agility in the game, and the lowest mass and shield capacity of any tier 7, tied with the Shadow X-3.
