Teaming is a concept in the FFA mode where two ships agree to not attack each other and support with mining or attacking.
The ship people are most likely to team with is the leader's ship, because everybody fears their power.
It is risky to team with strangers, for they can betray you and attack you when they have the upper hand.
FFA teaming has no set rules or functions, and the more players in a team, the more likely a ship will betray another ship and the team will turn into a giant dogfight.
