The Typhoon is a retired Tier 6 ship in the Alien Intrusion mod. It has a frontal main cannon that fires a high damage main pulse as well as two auxiliary cannons that rapidly fire low damage lasers. It is a fast ship, being able to both deal a lot of damage and escape battles easily. In the 5.0 update it was replaced with the Helius.
