The U-Punisher is a Tier 5 ship in the U-Series mod. The U-Punisher falls in the Assault ship category, like its predecessor and successor its overpowered. It fires a frenzy of 9 lasers all from the front which have insane recoil. Because of the recoil, this ship can escape easily and combined with its high burst damage makes it a great ship for attacking. However, it is rather a slow miner, and can get cornered if you're not careful. This ship is best played when on the offensive and, it is the best tier 5 ship. The Health is rather lackluster, so again, caution is advised when using this, and the starting stats are rather annoying, so best upgrade regen and agility first. A skilled U-Punisher can make a enemy team quickly fall behind in mining.

A strategy is to have a swarm of U-Punishers nuke the enemy base, putting them in a state of panic, both effectively slowing down their mining and helping undermine their progress. This is best done on a structural module when their station is 80% full.

The mass is much lower than its predecessor and successor, the U-Arsenal and U-Barricade, making it a prime target for the U-Smasher. If there are skilled U-Smasher pilots, a U-Barricade would do better in sparse regions because of its higher mass, health and faster speed.
