X-Warrior is a Tier 4 ship in Starblast.io. It fires four fast lasers from the front. The ones on the sides move faster than the ones in the center. Despite its size and bulk, it moves at an average speed and has brilliant acceleration, allowing it to get to top speed faster than most ships. It has average shield capacity and shield regeneration, but extremely high shield sensitivity. (ramming a asteroid you will lose a fair amount of shields) It is also incredibly efficient with energy, almost never running out when damage is not maxed

Strategy

  • Strong Against: Anything below it if it's shields and offensive upgrades are properly maxed, usually Mercurys and Pulse Fighters or Y-Defenders if maxed and used properly.
  • Weak Against: Any Tier 4 ship with stronger shields and/or firepower, everything above it for most of the time and Tier 3 ships if un-upgraded

Playing with X-Warrior

The X-Warrior, although not a popular choice due to the weak shields, is a great ship in team mode. As the fairly good damage and ROF can help it fill up its cargo without the need of ramming into asteroids and quickly draining its shield.

Make sure everything on this ship is maxed, especially shields. This is because strong Tier 3 ships such as Y-Defenders and Pulse-Fighters will target you and probably kill you. When you are maxed however, they do not stand a chance against you. If one tries to assault you, turn around and start shooting at them and hopefully scare them off or kill them.

The X-Warrior's good mining abilities makes it a great ship for team mode. A whole team of X-Warriors at any base level (except Level 1), would be a great miner team. The base will upgrade very fast, try to stay near your base, as stronger enemies may try to kill you.

If a Crusader or Bat-Defender attacks you, a good strategy is to turn off the RCS and back away from the bulky ship while shooting back. Although the X-Warrior's shields are not very strong, the fired lasers that come towards you won't kill you very quickly, while your reasonable rate of fire will help you take them down easily. Mercuries, as long as they are weaker than you can't really do anything against you.

Playing against X-Warrior

Most ships above its level work very effectively against the X-Warrior. Along with the fact it's weak shields make it an easy kill for many faster or bulkier ships such as T-Warriors, Shadow X-2s and FuryStars. As long as you are maxed and keep landing as many hits as possible, you will defeat one easily. The huge size of the X-Warrior means that it will be easy to aim at and land shots on. This is a weakness against sniper-type ships like the O-Defender.

A lot of Tier 4 ships will take the X-Warrior down very easily. The most effective would be the Side-Interceptor, as it has stronger shields and lasers with reasonable damage to destroy the X-Warrior. X-Warrior players that know this will probably try to flee from you, however, unless they are teaming or playing team mode and happens to be very close to its teammates, they are hopeless since Side-Interceptors can fly faster than X-Warriors. Pioneers can also be effective at this, however, the slower lasers means you have to get closer in order to proceed to kill it.

Try to max out a Pulse-Fighter if you are hunting one down. Pulse-Fighters can be very effective thanks to their great speed and high damage pulses, which can remove the Warrior's shields very fast. Unless very skilled, avoid attacking maxed ones, as they may kill you very easily.
